[New to Shopee] Can I change my payment method?

You can change your
payment method anytime before the payment is successfully marked as 'Paid' in the Shopee app. 

🚩 When can I change my payment method?

1. Cash on Delivery (COD)
❌ You cannot change the payment method once the order is placed.

  • To use a different payment method, you must cancel the order and place a new one using your preferred option.

  • COD orders can only be cancelled if they are still under:
    To Pay, or
    To Ship (without a tracking number)

2. Cash Payment at Physical Stores (e.g. 7-Eleven, KK Mart)
✅ You have 48 hours to change your payment method after placing the order.

3. Other Payment Options (ShopeePay, FPX, Credit/Debit Card, etc.)
✅ You have 24 hours to change your payment method after placing the order.

Steps to Change Your Payment Method:

  1. Go to the Me tab.
  2. Select To Pay.
  3. Click on Change Payment for your desired order.
  4. Select your preferred payment method.

For the Cash Payment at Physical Stores option, you can change your payment location to a different physical store, such as from 7-Eleven to KK Mart (or 99 Speedmart).

⚠️Note:

 

  • Make sure to complete your payment before the due date shown on your My Purchases page to avoid automatic cancellation.
  • If you chose Cash Payment at Physical Stores, you can still change the store (e.g., from 7-Eleven to KK Mart or 99 Speedmart) within the allowed time.
  • If your order is no longer on the ‘To Pay’ page, it means your payment has already been processed using the previous method, and you won’t be able to change it.
